Druk Shito-Kai at DISKA Open 2025

“Any task ahead of us is never as great as the skills behind us.”

Druk Shito-Kai proudly marked another milestone at the DISKA Open 2025, demonstrating excellence, unity, and determination across every division. Held under the banner of international friendship and growth, this event brought together karate-ka from diverse backgrounds, and Druk Shito-Kai stood strong among them.

Whether stepping onto the tatami as competitors, guiding others as coaches, or supporting the event as officials, every member of the Druk Shito-Kai team showed remarkable spirit and commitment. The tournament was more than a competition—it was a celebration of learning, perseverance, and community.

Medal Success & Skill Development
Congratulations to all Druk Shito-Kai members who brought home medals! Your dedication, growth, and performance reflected the hard work you’ve put in on and off the mat. These achievements are a source of pride for the entire organization and a reminder of what’s possible through consistent effort and discipline.

Historic Recognition for Bhutanese Officials
A special moment of recognition came from DISKA, honoring two pioneering members of our karate community:
🥋 Dumpa San and Maya San were acknowledged as the first Panam officials from the Bhutanese community in Canada, and notably, the first female Panam officials from the Bhutanese community in the United States.
This historic achievement represents a giant leap forward for inclusivity, representation, and progress within our global karate community.
